Sales Director - Residential fire

Overview: - Ajax Systems is an international technological company and Europe's largest security system manufacturer. - Offers solutions for video surveillance, smart homes, fire detection, and flood prevention. - Protects over 3.5 million users in 187 countries with a product portfolio of 180 devices. - Employs 4,100 specialists and operates three factories in Ukraine and Turkey. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the fire alarm product line in the EMEA region, with a focus on the UK market. - Collaborate with the product management team to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. - Establish partnerships with suitable fire alarm and life safety product distribution channels. - Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, including distributors, resellers, and enterprise customers. - Lead negotiations and close deals to secure major contracts and partnerships. - Regularly promote Ajax products to local authorities, housing associations, and distributors. - Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team dedicated to the fire alarm market. - Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and foster a results-driven culture. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Proven track record in sales leadership roles within the domestic fire and life safety industry. - Passion and enthusiasm for work, ability to work autonomously, and pride in work. - Expertise in developing and executing go-to-market strategies in complex markets. - Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing multicultural teams across EMEA. - Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to sales and market positioning. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region. - Understanding of local regulations, specifically BS 5839 part 6 and BS 5839 part 1.
