Sales Engineer (Accounting Experience)

Overview: - Empowers FloQast direct sales team as a liaison for accounting-specific questions during sales cycle. - Conducts product demonstrations, participates in industry events, and leads training sessions. - Coordinates with various teams for roadmap developments and smooth implementation. - Assists in technical evaluations and supports Customer Success team with client calls. Key Responsibilities: - Joins meetings and webinars to address technical/operational accounting questions. - Strategizes with sales team on positioning, objection handling, and next steps. - Leads internal training sessions to enhance accounting knowledge. - Analyzes sales cycle stages for emphasis on areas of need. - Collaborates with Marketing for collateral development. - Communicates cultural impact experienced by sales reps. - Provides deeper understanding of client purchases and assists with demonstrations for PE/Accounting firms. - Organizes IT/sales collateral for direct sales team. - Increases individual close rates and assists in technical evaluations. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Minimum 3-5 years industry accounting experience. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledge of financial compliance landscape. - Prior user experience of FloQast or similar software preferred. - Strong accounting systems implementation experience. - Collaborative team player, comfortable in high-velocity sales environment. - Energetic communicator, enjoys networking and relationship building. - Self-starter with initiative and ability to work under tight deadlines.
