**Overview:** - Granicus is a company focused on building, implementing, and maintaining technology to connect governments and their constituents. - Serving over 5,500 government agencies and more than 300 million citizen subscribers. - The company is recognized for its work in the GovTech industry and has appeared on the GovTech 100 list. **Key Responsibilities:** - Generate subscription sales for SaaS platform(s) and related services in the Canadian market. - Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet sales objectives. - Work with the Marketing Team to ensure strong lead flow. - Create compelling value propositions and guide prospects through the buying process. - Manage all aspects of sales in the territory, including prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, contract management, and closing deals. - Support management team in developing sales strategy. - Document all sales activities in CRM and other sales tools. - Present quarterly business reviews to Sales Management and peers. - Travel 20-30% of the time. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Confident, competitive, thorough, flexible, resilient, and tenacious. - Proven ability to manage 30+ active opportunities and close 15+ opportunities per year. - Experience selling software and/or technology in the Canadian Government / Public-sector. - Capable of selling $100K+ deals. - Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and successful working independently and in a team. - Excited about managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Effective prospecting and opportunity closure track record. - Proficient in CRM utilization. - Adaptability in fast-paced environments. - Client-centric problem-solving skills. - Solution-oriented sales approach. - Utilization of technology for sales enhancement. - Navigating complex sales environments. - Influencing abilities and persuasive communication. - Interpersonal effectiveness and collaborative relationship-building. - Forward-thinking and strategic mindset. - Strong customer orientation and result orientation. - Business acumen. - French proficiency (Preferred). - Security and privacy requirements compliance. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: $60,000 - $85,000 a year. - Commission and benefits included. - Security and privacy training requirements.
