Sr Financial Analyst, Strategy

Overview: - Seeking a finance professional for the FP&A Strategy Team at Instructure. - Role involves strategic thinking, cross-functional work, and financial business case development. - Reports to the Senior Director, FP&A Strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct ROI analyses for initiatives and investments. - Build and maintain relationships with business leaders to drive ROI. - Perform due diligence and financial modeling for M&A. - Collaborate with Corporate Development and business leaders on growth initiatives. - Update Long Range Plan models with strategic business cases and actual results. - Provide strategic financial insights for long-term growth. - Support Chief Strategy Officer with ad-hoc reporting and data. - Perform market research and prepare presentations for executive leadership. - Drive business process improvements using the Perform, Drive, Measure Framework. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree. - 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, FP&A, or analytics. - Expert modeling skills and ability to create models from scratch. - Strong analytical abilities for managing large data sets. - Strong communication skills for remote work. - Strong business partnering skills and holistic business strategy understanding. - Self-starter, quick learner, and creative problem solver. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and SQL. - Familiarity with SalesForce data objects and structure. - Background in Public Accounting M&A, Investment banking, and Tech/Software/SaaS preferred. - MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance.
