Director of Procurement

Overview: - Saviynt is seeking a Director of Procurement to lead procurement function within the SaaS industry. - The role involves strategic leadership, vendor and software management, software implementation & integration, and process optimization & governance. - The candidate will be responsible for managing the entire procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored for the SaaS environment. - Manage and optimize relationships with key suppliers and software vendors. - Oversee the implementation of new procurement software solutions. - Establish and refine procurement processes that ensure compliance and cost optimization. - Collaborate with Finance to manage procurement budgets and track expenditures. - Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, financial, and industry standards. - Develop reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor procurement performance. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. - 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, particularly in SaaS or technology companies. - Deep understanding of procurement software systems, including experience with Tipalti and NetSuite. - Experience in software implementation, integration, and process management in the SaaS environment. - Analytical & problem-solving skills, leadership, and communication abilities. - Attention to detail, time management, and security & privacy literacy.
