Sr. Solutions Engineer - Japan

Overview: - Seeking an experienced, articulate, and passionate education technologist to become a Senior Solutions Engineer (SE) at Instructure. - The role involves guiding prospective customers through the evaluation process of Instructure Learning Platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Channel Account Managers and Channel Partners to manage complex opportunities. - Develop and deliver tailored product demonstrations for various sectors. - Analyze customer goals and pain points, mapping them to appropriate platform solutions. - Respond to technical requirements in RFIs/RFPs, determining necessary Instructure solutions and partners. - Document customer requirements for successful evaluation, proof of concept, and implementation. - Continuously develop personal and team skills. - Ensure a positive customer experience by closely collaborating with customer experience teams. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Minimum 5+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization. - Fluency in Japanese and English. - Understanding of channel sales programs. - Technical knowledge of education technology, web technology, systems integration, SaaS, student information systems, APIs. - Self-motivated, self-reliant, collaborative, and communicative. - Strong presentation skills for a wide range of stakeholders. - Organized, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities. - Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
