Engineering Manager, Production Engineering

**Overview:** - Attentive® is an AI-powered mobile marketing platform that personalizes consumer engagement. - The role is within the Platform Infrastructure team, focusing on building a resilient and cost-effective platform. - The team supports over 100 million customers daily, handling billions of events. - The role involves strategic leadership, technical roadmap influence, and hands-on coding and design. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage a team of production engineers, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance reviews. - Design and deliver high-impact solutions to enhance system reliability, scalability, and observability. - Drive strategic initiatives and cross-team collaborations for technical leadership. - Establish production standards and best practices for operational excellence. - Champion reliability goals and advocate for SLIs, SLOs, and incident management. - Mentor team members and foster technical growth. - Innovate and inspire continuous improvement. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - 3+ years of experience in Production Engineering, Backend Engineering, SRE, DevOps. - 2+ years of experience in a management or team lead role. - Proficient problem-solver with coding skills in languages like Golang, Python, Java, or TypeScript. - Track record of successful medium to large-scale projects. - Deep understanding of production reliability concepts. - Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate. - Familiarity with dynamic, reliability-focused production environments. **Compensation & Benefits:** - US base salary range: $182,240 - $260,000 annually. - Equity as a significant part of the total compensation package. - Competitive perks and benefits, including health & wellness and equity. - Attentive is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion. - Reasonable accommodations provided for candidates with disabilities.
