Data Engineer

**Overview:** - Edelman is a trusted voice in communication, focusing on action-driven culture. - Committed to DEIB, fostering an equitable and inspiring workplace. - Seeking a Data Engineer with 3-5 years' experience in AGILE environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and machine learning. - Optimize data models and structures using Snowflake and Databricks. - Manage Spark jobs and integrate with other data services using Databricks and cloud-native solutions. - Build and scale distributed computing tasks with PySpark or Ray. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new product features. - Document data engineering workflows. - Mentor junior team members and share knowledge. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders across interest groups. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Minimum of 3 years experience in scalable data engineering solutions. - Proven track record of independently developed data pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure on AWS. - Experience with Apache Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL/Python. - Strong DevOps practices for CI/CD. - Experience with structured & unstructured file formats and ETL/ELT processes. - Familiarity with real-time data processing and AI implementation. - Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: €60,000 - €70,000 per year. - Total compensation package may include bonuses, Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits. - Edelman values diverse and inclusive candidates, encouraging applications even if experience doesn't align perfectly.
