Overview: - Seeking a Renewals Manager with sales and account management experience, preferably in open source or enterprise software. - Role focuses on contract renewals, customer satisfaction, and recurring revenue stability. - Ideal candidate has contributed to customer retention for early-stage enterprise products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a strategy for contract renewals and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities. - Work with account executives for a seamless renewal process. - Engage with account team, partners, and customer health data to identify renewal risks. - Identify expansion opportunities and drive them to closure. - Act as the primary point of contact for renewal-related inquiries. - Conduct account reviews and planning for accurate forecasting and addressing potential churn. - Leverage customer feedback for product development and improvement. - Represent Kong professionally, providing support and guidance throughout the renewal process. - Fulfill additional tasks as required by the manager. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in sales, sales development, or account management. - Background in enterprise software, open source, APIs, or infrastructure software is advantageous. - Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow customer relationships with a focus on high retention rates. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. - Results-driven approach with strong analytical skills. - Ability to track and forecast renewal metrics and identify growth opportunities.
