Overview: - Role as a champion for the company's largest and most critical customers. - Primary post-sales contact for technical, product, and support queries. - Establish, implement, and run processes and projects for successful Kong product adoption. - Interface with various customer roles, from Developers to Executives. - Represent company values and understand customer business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Onboard new customers, validate needs, and identify project timelines. - Advocate and document customer use cases, architecture, and roadmaps. - Drive adoption and implementation of Kong product features through demonstrations and workshops. - Explore new use cases and expand Kong’s API platform usage. - Document ROI through Joint Success Plan and business value playback. - Build relationships with customers as their technical advisor and partner. - Manage customer accounts using Kong’s maturity model framework. - Periodic review of Kong implementation and best practices. - Handle customer escalations and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Administer/interact with API management platforms. - Prior experience with technology startups. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - 5 to 7 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role. - Hands-on experience with DevOps, full-stack application development, or microservices on cloud computing. - Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues and solutions. - Storytelling with data to articulate business value through Kong products. - Strong collaboration and teamwork with cross-functional teams. - Proven ability to tackle hard technical problems with minimal supervision. - Experience managing multiple projects, focusing on attention to detail and delivering results. - Prior experience with API management platforms and working for a technology startup.
