Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting

Overview: - Lime, a global shared electric vehicle company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. - The role involves supporting Lime’s global accounting and financial reporting functions, preparing financial statements, and developing global accounting policies. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements and footnotes, coordination with external auditors, and monthly close activities for corporate accounting processes. - Evaluate complex transactions, apply accounting standards, develop solutions to accounting issues, and communicate results to stakeholders. - Develop and maintain global accounting policies and procedures, monitor new accounting standards, and spearhead process changes to comply with new requirements. - Communicate and collaborate effectively with various internal groups to ensure compliance with US GAAP and global accounting policies. - Drive continuous improvements in corporate accounting processes. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification or pursuing CPA. - 3+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in public accounting (Big Four) or with a public company. - Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and SOX internal control requirements. - Ability to conduct research, develop and document positions, and effectively communicate results to management, auditors, and non-accounting stakeholders. - Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks. - Preferred experience with ASC 842 lease accounting and experience with NetSuite, Workiva, and/or Visual Lease.
