Overview: - Sports Content Reviewer responsible for researching, evaluating, and editing sports-related content. - Ensures content aligns with client's style guide and user expectations. - Defines editorial direction and creates compelling local market experiences. - Works cross-functionally for accurate localization of global data. Key Responsibilities: - Review and edit content to match style guide and user expectations. - Define editorial direction and visual experience for sporting events. - Verify content accuracy and strategic coverage planning. - Validate partner data accuracy. - Perform additional tasks as assigned. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Fluency in English (Spanish fluency is a plus). - Knowledge of popular sports in North America and international sports. - Strong research skills and ability to discern reliable sources. - Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to ask questions. - Adherence to technical rules and responsiveness to feedback. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible to changes. - Passion for sports content and experience in writing/editing. - Experience with CMS tool, localization, and design/photography preferred. - Based in San Francisco or nearby, willing to work flexible hours. - Previous experience with live data or statistics gathering is beneficial.
