Manager, Product Design

**Overview:** - 1Password is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team within the Growth group. - The role focuses on optimizing user experience, reducing friction, and driving product-led growth experiments. - The goal is to shape customer acquisition, onboarding, retention strategies, and drive expansion within the product ecosystem. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the product design team for growth initiatives. - Connect projects and goals with a focus on end-to-end experiences. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand domain, drive experiments, and ensure clear goals and priorities. - Build, mentor, and develop solid product designers. - Plan design team performance, workload, and career development. - Cultivate department-wide culture and standards. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - 6-8+ years of design expertise in UX, systems design, UI, and information architecture, preferably in a SaaS company. - Proven product leadership with measurable impact on organizational success. - Proven track record of coaching and developing design teams. - Effective communication skills and ability to articulate design value. - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Growth mindset and experience with well-established B2B SaaS companies. - Project management skills and initiative in aligning team with processes. - Talent recruitment experience. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Annual base salary ranges from $146,000 CAD to $198,000 CAD for Canada-based roles, and $173,000 USD to $233,000 USD for USA-based roles. - Immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program, including health, dental, RRSP, and many others. - Generous paid time off, company equity, retirement matching program, training budget, and learning sessions. - Fully remote environment with occasional travel for in-person engagement. - Paid volunteer days and employee-led DEIB programs. - Peer-to-peer recognition through Bonusly. **Remote Work:** - The role is remote with occasional travel for in-person engagement. - Accommodation may be available upon request. - Background checks may be required as part of the recruitment process. - An automated employment decision tool is used, with options for reasonable accommodation or alternative selection processes.
