Sr. Project Manager/Scrum Master

**Overview:** - Bixal, a consulting company in Fairfax, VA, supports governments and organizations to improve services and experiences. - Seeks a Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master for the VA Design System (VADS) and VA Forms Library. - Role is critical for Veteran-Facing Services (VFS) teams, focusing on user-friendly digital experiences. - Full-time, contingent on contract award, with a performance period up to one year. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile best practices. - Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and sprint goals aligned with VA’s objectives. - Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating collaboration. - Implement and refine Agile methodologies, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. - Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues and develop solutions. - Manage multiple teams, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization. - Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving within the team. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience or equivalent. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification. - Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies. - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, and Agile tools. - Strong communication skills, servant leadership, and problem-solving ability. - Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams. - Must obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. - SAFe certification (SAFe Scrum Master or SAFe Agilist) and PMP certification are preferred. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: $122,000 - $132,000 per year. - Perks: Flex hours, 401K with matching, parental leave, medical/dental/vision benefits, Flex Spending Account, short-term disability and life insurance, commuter benefits, generous PTO, 11 paid holidays, professional development opportunities.
