Staff Accountant

Overview: - CertiK, founded by Yale and Columbia professors, is a leader in blockchain security using AI technology. - The company secures blockchain protocols and smart contracts, applying academic innovations to enterprise solutions. - Clients include Aave, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Yearn, and Chiliz. - Investors include Tiger Global, Coatue Management, Shunwei Capital, Hillhouse Capital, Coinbase Ventures, and Binance. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing financial records, reports, and analysis. - Maintain integrity of accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulations. - Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, inter-company accounts, and General Ledger accounts. - Post corporate recurring journal entries and monthly accruals. - Prepare and analyze financial statements and assist with year-end audit activities. - Prepare ad hoc reports as requested. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - B.S. in Accounting. - 2+ years of accounting experience, with preference for public and private experience. - Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. - Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. - Problem-solving and analytical skills. - Team player with strong interpersonal skills and self-motivation. - Experience with NetSuite is a plus. - Ability to work remotely with a diverse team.
