Partnership Tax Flow Through - Consultant

Overview: - Preparation and review of federal and state tax compliance for various entities. - Prepare/review partnership income tax returns and K-1’s using tax software. - Support tax department through roles like tax manager or analyst. - Assist with project management and implementation of tax technology and process improvements. - Assist with tax restructuring and special projects. - Work directly with clients on-site as part of a tax team. - Establish relationships with internal tax leaders. - Mentor junior team members. Key Responsibilities: - Tax compliance preparation and review for private equity, venture capital, fund of fund entities, and closely held companies. - Prepare and review tax returns and K-1’s. - Support tax department through various roles and potentially work on-site. - Assist with project management and tax technology implementation. - Assist with tax restructuring and special projects. - Work directly with clients on-site. - Establish relationships with internal tax leaders. - Mentor junior team members. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Detail-oriented with strong research and analytical skills. - Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking ability, and ability to work under deadlines. - Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and project management skills. - Accountability for independently completing assignments. - Experience with Microsoft Excel and corporate tax return preparation software (GoSystems/OneSource). - Capable of collaborating with people of different technical backgrounds. - Self-confidence, self-starter, and willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic environment. - Minimum of 3+ years experience in corporate/Big-4 public accounting. - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field; Master’s in Taxation/CPA preferred.
