Emergency Response Program Manager - US based

**Overview:** - Temporary Program Manager - Emergency Operations role at CORE. - Responsible for overseeing and coordinating domestic and international emergency response programs. - Lead disaster response efforts for various crises and support preparedness initiatives. - 2-month temporary position with potential extension. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deploy for emergency responses and oversee field operations. - Build capacity through training, documentation, and simulations. - Coordinate multi-departmental preparedness efforts. - Conduct needs assessments and gather data for response strategies. - Develop and facilitate training sessions for emergency response personnel. - Design and coordinate disaster simulations. - Monitor program progress and prepare after-action reports. - Assist in budget and resource management. - Direct supervision of field teams and coordination with stakeholders. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - BA/BSc in emergency management, humanitarian studies, or related field; MA preferred. - Minimum 3 years of experience in disaster response, humanitarian aid, or program management. - Valid Passport & Driver’s License with no significant infractions in the last five years. - Experience in international/domestic emergency response, training facilitation, and field deployments. - Practical experience in mucking & gutting, chainsaw operations, tarping, construction, and emergency home repair. - Strong leadership, crisis management, and bilingual skills. - Knowledge of VOADs, humanitarian standards, and disaster frameworks. - Ability to work in challenging conditions with rapid deployment. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: $80,000 - $80,000 per year. - Background checks required post job offer. - CORE's Zero Tolerance policy for sexual exploitation and abuse. - Safeguarding policy adherence confirmed by applicants.
