Quality Engineer II

Overview: - Remote/home-based position in New Zealand - Quality Engineer role at Everbridge, focusing on Travel Risk Management, Safety Connection, and SaaS-based Critical Event Management platforms Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with engineering and support teams to embed quality best practices - Build and execute API and GUI tests, both manually and via automation scripts - Write and execute test plans for new features and applications - Track issues, identify root causes, and work with developers - Generate and analyze test reports - Perform quality inspections of test and development artifacts - Drive quality control around CI/CD pipeline process and implementations - Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers on quality tasks - Establish a culture of quality within the team Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automated testing environment - 2+ years of experience with Python and pytest framework for automated testing - 2+ years of experience in Agile environment - Experience with GUI testing (Python with Selenium), REST API testing, and mobile app testing (Android and iOS) - Experience with database querying or scripting - Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and build tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Helm, K8s, Salt, Terraform, Redis) - Strong understanding of QA methodology and Software Development Lifecycle using Agile principles Compensation & Benefits: - NZD 87k – NZD 93k - 40-hour per week role - Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Company values resilience and empowers enterprises and government organizations to anticipate, mitigate, respond to, and recover from critical events.
