Senior Manager, Corporate Tax

Overview: - Fullscript is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Tax to lead the compliance roadmap. - The role involves overseeing tax compliance, financial reporting, cash tax forecasting, R&D credits, and controversy management. - The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with senior leadership on tax developments. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee federal, state/provincial, and local income tax returns for U.S. and Canadian entities. - Manage annual state filing requirements and ensure compliance with tax laws. - Develop and maintain a robust model for forecasting cash tax liabilities. - Oversee Canadian SR&ED credit claims and U.S. Section 174 R&D expense reporting. - Manage income tax audits and coordinate responses with tax authorities. - Maintain transfer pricing strategies and ensure compliance with documentation requirements. - Lead the compliance calendar and support business initiatives with tax guidance. - Review changes in tax laws and their implications for the company. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - CPA, CA, or other relevant professional designation preferred. - Minimum of 7+ years of relevant corporate tax experience, focusing on U.S. and Canadian tax under US GAAP. - Proven experience in transfer pricing, particularly Cost Sharing Agreements (CSA) and cost-plus methodologies. - Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian SR&ED credits and U.S. Section 174 R&D tax regulations. - Strong experience with tax provision software and processes. - Familiarity with Netsuite and strong MS Excel or Gsheet skills. - Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
