**Overview:** - Granicus is a company focused on transforming the Govtech industry by connecting governments and their constituents. - The Canadian sales team requires a strong Account Manager to drive new revenue in the Cloud Vertical. - The role involves business development in Canadian Municipal, Provincial, and Federal government sectors, with potential focus on energy, health, education, and other special districts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed sales objectives. - Generate sales and promote market growth within the territory. - Collaborate with Marketing Team for lead flow and create compelling value propositions. - Manage all aspects of sales in the territory, including prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting revenue, contract management, and closing deals. - Support management team in developing sales strategy. - Document all sales activities and present quarterly business reviews. - Travel approximately 20-30% of the time. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Confident, competitive, thorough, flexible, resilient, and tenacious. - Proven ability to manage 30+ active opportunities and close 15+ opportunities per year. - Experience selling software and/or technology in the Canadian Government / Public-sector. - Capable of selling $100K+ deals as part of a diverse sales pipeline. - Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and successful in managing multiple priorities. - Proven in prospecting and achieving significant accomplishments in selling enterprise software, ERP, SaaS, marketing/communications technology, or marketing services. - At least 5+ years of field sales experience in IT, information services, or business services sold on a subscription model. - French proficiency (Preferred). **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 a year. - Commission and benefits included. **Security and Privacy Requirements:** - Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Granicus information assets. - Responsible for data privacy of employees and customers. - Take all required privacy training in a timely manner.
