Fraud Analyst III

**Overview:** - Kueski is a leading BNPL and online consumer credit platform in Latin America, focusing on improving financial lives in Mexico. - Recognized as the top BNPL platform by Fintech Breakthrough and one of Mexico's most ethical companies by AMITAI. - Ranked as one of the Best Companies for Female Talent by EFY. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop strategies for business growth and fraud prevention, including monitoring systems and credit evaluation schemes. - Conduct investigations to identify fraud patterns through data analysis. - Prepare executive reports and presentations at a strategic level. - Analyze fraud at both portfolio and merchant/branch levels, using data analysis methodologies. - Evaluate the need for additional tools or policies to mitigate losses and prevent fraud. - Coordinate with engineering and product teams on fraud and risk policies and tools. - Establish cross-selling strategies based on fraud and credit risk profiles. - Stay updated with industry best practices, regulatory guidelines, and market developments. - Mentor junior analysts in fraud risk analysis methodologies and techniques. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Graduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Actuary, Economics, or similar. - Over 3 years of experience in analytical areas with database management skills (Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau). - At least 2 years of experience in consumer credit risk behavior and financial fraud prevention analysis. - Knowledge of analytical techniques for fraud prevention and consumer credit risk analysis. - Strong analytical skills and familiarity with statistical and financial tools. - Experience interpreting analytical tools associated with fraud prevention. - Advanced English proficiency. - Understanding of fraud and consumer credit risk metrics. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Competitive salary. - Medical insurance. - Wellbeing benefits, including ample and flexible time off. - Mental healthcare benefits. - Competitive stock options. - Commitment to building an inclusive and diverse team. - Reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.
