Communications Manager, DACH Region

Overview: - Lime, a global electric vehicle company, seeks a Communications Manager for the DACH region. - The role is part-time, up to 25 hours/week, for a twelve-month period with potential extension. - The Communications Manager will report to the Global Communications Director and work closely with the Communications Lead for the DACH region. Key Responsibilities: - Drive a communications strategy to support Lime’s business and regulatory objectives in local markets throughout DACH. - Engage with local and regional media to shape stories, serve as an on-the-record spokesperson, and manage media inquiries. - Manage production of day-to-day deliverables, including researching, drafting, and editing materials. - Partner with local Government Relations teams to develop communications strategies around micromobility rules and regulations. - Localize corporate initiatives and share news around tech, product, and company-wide announcements. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years experience in communications, media relations, or public affairs. - Established history of building and fostering media relationships with local outlets and/or national business, tech, and policy publications. - Strong understanding of public policy issues related to Lime’s products and services. - Pure hustle, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to take ownership over projects and plans. - Compelling, authentic, and persuasive communications style with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Personal passion for sustainable urban transportation. - Fluency in German and English. - Bachelor's degree required.
