Business Development Manager, Europe (R3304)

Overview: - Business Development Manager - UK role at Shield AI, a defense technology company. - Focus on driving growth of Shield AI’s V-BAT business across Europe, primarily in the UK. - Responsibilities include strategy development, market expansion, and enhancing brand presence. Key Responsibilities: - Regular engagement with customers to present and discuss Shield AI products. - Attendance at trade shows and industry events to promote Shield AI products. - Coordination of marketing and government relations opportunities. - Building and structuring industry partnerships. - Planning and executing product demonstrations. - Leading proposal responses and developing industrial participation strategies. - Managing team budget. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Willingness to reside in or relocate to the UK with over 10 years of relevant experience. - Deep understanding of UK military operations, defense acquisition processes, and defense systems. - Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with strong government relationships. - Charismatic leadership and ability to inspire others. - Strong technical knowledge in UAVs and AI, or willingness to learn quickly. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Results-driven, analytical, and a proven track record of exceeding goals. - Team-oriented and collaborative, with frequent travel capability. - Bachelor's degree required, with preferred qualifications including specific defense strategy experience in Europe, UAV or AI business development experience, and an MBA or related Master’s degree with 6+ years of leadership/operational experience within the UK MoD.
