Senior Staff Autonomy Engineer, Planning (R2879)

Key Responsibilities: - Technical subject matter expert for task planning in multi-agent teams. - Research, design, and implement state-of-the-art algorithms for task planning. - Develop core systems for portability and scalability across UAS platforms. - Develop enterprise SDK for autonomy development. - Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and product managers for technical roadmap. - Work on projects like Multi Agent Executive Manager, autonomous scheduling algorithms, NATO system interoperability, and end-to-end simulation and analysis. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Minimum of 12 years of related experience or equivalent degrees (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD). - Experience with task planning/scheduling and multi-agent collaborative autonomy. - Drive technical initiatives and architectural decisions. - Proficient with C++ 11 or newer in production environments. - Experience in collaborative development, continuous integration/delivery, and test-driven development. - Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices. - Strong communication skills, trustworthiness, kindness, and organizational skills.
