**Overview:** - Senior Manager role at Shield AI for business development within the U.S. Navy. - Focus on developing capture strategies, identifying opportunities, and executing proposals. - Leadership in managing risks, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication. - Representation at industry events to promote Shield AI's mission and capabilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement capture strategies aligned with Shield AI's strategic plan. - Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the U.S. Navy. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. - Oversee proposal development, ensuring compliance and alignment with value propositions. - Conduct competitive analysis and risk management. - Collaborate with Strategic Engagement team and Solutions Engineers. - Represent Shield AI at conferences and trade shows. - Regularly update senior leadership on capture progress and issues. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. - Over 12 years of experience in military service and sales, focused on the U.S. Navy. - Proven track record of capturing and winning contracts within U.S. Navy agencies. - In-depth understanding of defense acquisition processes. - Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong negotiation and contract management skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-pressure environment. - Willingness to travel for customer engagements. - Active or eligible for U.S. Department of Defense security clearance. - Preferred: Experience with Group 3 UAS and autonomy software, U.S. Navy experience, MBA or equivalent. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: $135,000 - $205,000 per year. - Full-time regular employee offer package includes pay, bonus, benefits, and equity. - Temporary employee offer package includes pay and temporary benefits after 60 days of employment. - Compensation influenced by skill set, experience, licenses, certifications, and location. - Equal opportunity workplace, affirmative action employer. - Benefits and offer packages subject to background clearance and reference check. - Part-time and military fellows not eligible for benefits.
