Overview: - Content Platform Research team seeks a Research Scientist to drive innovation in Spotify technologies through scientific research. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and related fields. - Analyze and collect data, perform analyses, identify problems, and devise solutions. - Collaborate with various teams to design creative solutions to challenging problems. - Maintain a research profile through external engagement. - Develop a long-term research ands ands and, and toll ( - - s ands ands and and ands and s and and and and-and ands and ands ands ands -content and-term- Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - PhD in computer science, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, data science, speech, or related areas. - Strong knowledge of NLP, ML, large language models, evaluation, deep learning, optimization techniques, IR, recommender systems, and search or data mining. - Publications in research communities such as ACL, EMNLP, SIGIR, FACCT, NeurIPS, ICML, WSDM, WWW, RecSys, KDD, AAAI. - Proven skills in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating, analyzing, visualizing, and modeling real data. - Good coding skills and familiarity with engineering standard methodologies. - Passion for understanding user behavior in podcasts and music content. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Compensation & Benefits: - Salary range: $132,073 - $188,676 plus equity. - Benefits include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. - Flexibility to work from home with occasional in-person meetings. - Base location: New York, with potential for remote work.
