Risk and Controls Program Manager

Overview: - Seeking a Technology Risk and Controls Program Manager for Spotify's Financial Engineering team. - Role focuses on ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable operations as the company grows. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to design and manage controls framework. - Ensure effectiveness of IT control environment, focusing on ICFR and SOX requirements. - Liaise between business processes and IT General Controls environments. - Provide training and support for system control owners and teams. - Enable efficient execution of SOX compliance program. - Offer risk analysis, control impact assessments, and assist in implementing control or process changes. - Monitor industry and regulatory developments for policy, process, technology, and internal control improvements. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or equivalent. - 5+ years of experience in public accounting, risk and controls/IT compliance, Internal Audit, or equivalent. - CPAs/CISAs or other relevant certifications preferred. - Big 4 experience preferred. - Knowledge of software engineering teams and Agile/CI/CD methodologies. - Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder expectations. - Experience with financial SaaS systems, NetSuite, or similar cloud ERP systems. - Experience with multinational organizations and teams across multiple time zones. Compensation & Benefits: - Salary range: $119,210-$170,300, plus equity. - Health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. - Flexibility to work within the Americas region, operating within the Eastern Time Zone. - Benefits may be modified in the future.
