Staff Product Designer- Design System

**Overview:** - Super.com aims to maximize lives for customers and employees. - Principal Product Designer role focused on building and maintaining a comprehensive design system. - Responsible for setting quality standards, guidelines, and governance. - Collaborates with various teams to improve customer experience and product design. - Advocates for design excellence and innovation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the evolution of the design system across web and mobile apps. - Maintain components, patterns, and processes for the design system. - Identify and implement process efficiencies and improvements. - Collaborate with product designers, brand designers, and engineers. - Advocate for the importance of a cohesive design system. - Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices. - Conduct research and gather feedback to improve the design system. - Mentor and coach the product design team. - Develop team processes and elevate design standards. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - 6+ years of product design experience. - 2+ years experience in building and maintaining design systems. - Experience with "0-1" consumer products in a startup environment. - Proven product design skills with a focus on visual design and user experience. - Technical understanding of design across various breakpoints and devices. - Strong proficiency with Figma and other design/documentation tools. - Experience mentoring and coaching designers. - Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. - Experience with user research and quantitative data. - Strong visual design skills, including creating engaging icons and animations. - Prototyping skills in design tools. - Experience with industry trends and unproven methods. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: $127,000 - $204,000 a year. - Remote work flexibility. - Unlimited PTO, recharge days, travel discounts, Weekly UberEats credit. - Annual company offsites. - Competitive salary packages, equity options. - Equal opportunity employer with no discrimination based on various factors. - Accommodations available upon request for the selection process.
