Management Company Accountant

Overview: - High-touch consulting firm specializing in finance, accounting, and operations for investment managers. - Remote opportunity with a US-based company. Key Responsibilities: - Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable. - Initiate payment of client invoices via bank website and/or online tools. - Review and approve client expense reports according to company policies. - Track, process, and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online. - Perform bank reconciliations and ensure transaction accuracy. - Maintain up-to-date financial records for multiple clients. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. - Support team managers in meeting deadlines and providing client details. - Deliver superior client service. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. - CPA certification. - 2-5 years of experience in partnership and/or fund accounting. - Strong knowledge of GAAP. - Proficiency with MS Excel and QuickBooks Online. - Working knowledge of Bill.com, Brex, and Expensify. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational and time-management abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multi-task and handle daily client needs. - Interest in delivering superior client service. - Proof of suitable workspace for remote employment.
