Safety Framework Methods Lead

Key Responsibilities: - Lead and document safety framework methods for driverless autonomy readiness. - Serve as a central contact for safety and readiness metrics. - Drive safety culture through standards and methodologies application. - Define improvements for the simulator to verify driving behaviors. - Continuously evaluate and enhance safety framework methods. - Implement tools and methodologies to streamline safety processes. - Collaborate with external partners on data gathering for safety cases. - Lead and mentor a team of systems and/or safety engineers. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Undergraduate degree required; Masters or PhD preferred in engineering. - 5+ years of experience in automotive, robotics, aerospace, or related industries. - Experience with autonomous vehicles' safety cases and readiness decisions. - Strong fundamentals in math, engineering, physics, and data analysis. - Excellent communication skills for complex concepts. - Experience in software systems, robotics, machine learning, and data mining. - Open-minded, collaborative, and passionate about self-driving technologies.
