Manager, Credit Reporting

Overview: - Seeking a Credit Reporting Manager for Wealthsimple's Credit Reporting Program. - Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, improving data accuracy, and enhancing reporting processes. - Role involves shaping credit reporting strategy and influencing fintech innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and lead the creation of Wealthsimple’s Credit Reporting Program. - Oversee and manage the credit reporting process, ensuring accurate submissions to credit bureaus. - Act as the primary liaison with credit bureaus, resolving data discrepancies. - Establish and enforce internal policies and procedures for regulatory and bureau requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for consistency and accuracy in reporting. - Implement data quality controls and lead the credit dispute resolution process. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in credit reporting, credit risk, compliance, or related fields. - Strong understanding of Metro 2® reporting format and credit bureau data correction. - Experience working directly with credit bureaus and managing dispute resolution processes. - Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Familiarity with automated credit reporting systems and regulatory audit processes.
