Accounting Assistant (CPA)

Overview: - Wing seeks a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Accounting Assistant for remote work. - The role is part of Wing's mission to redefine work for companies globally. - The position requires advanced expertise in financial accounting and strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Lead financial accounting processes and ensure compliance with international standards. - Develop financial strategies for profitability and cost-efficiency. - Oversee financial statement preparation, audits, and reporting. - Conduct risk assessments and implement internal controls. - Guide and mentor junior accountants and financial analysts. - Provide financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management. - Advice on accounting policies, tax implications, and financial best practices. - Identify process improvements and automation opportunities. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial strategy, and regulatory compliance. - Expert knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and corporate financial management. - Proficiency in accounting and financial software (SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise, Xero, etc.). - Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking). - Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Strong leadership and proactive financial problem-solving skills. - Technical requirements: USB Headset, Webcam, computer with specifications, and internet speed.
