Regional Property Manager (Bay Area Region)

Overview: - Seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager for affordable properties in the Bay Area Region. - Responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining resident relations, meeting financial objectives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. - Supervises Property Managers and Senior Property Managers. Key Responsibilities: - Review and approve annual budgets and monthly financial reports. - Manage expenses, establish rent levels, and initiate legal actions as needed. - Monitor recertification processes, vendor contracts, and property tax reassessments. - Implement maintenance programs, resolve maintenance issues, and conduct regular staff meetings. - Maintain budgeted occupancy goals, adhere to marketing policies, and develop resident relations programs. - Recruit, train, and develop personnel; comply with Affirmative Fair Housing regulations. - Assess security needs, involve community resources, and maintain active resident relations. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED equivalent. - 5-8 years of direct affordable housing experience. - 3-5 years of supervisory experience. - Minimum of 3 years of regional property management experience. - Current driver's license with good standing. - Direct experience with affordable housing programs. - Experience with property management software and knowledge of landlord and tenant laws. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. - Strong managerial skills, knowledge of marketing and leasing techniques.
