Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Act as a technical interface to AHEAD clients for Datacenter and Cloud services. - Design, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain internal and external customer environments. - Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance. - Support Level 2 and Level 3 Engineers and escalate issues to Managed Services support technicians. - Interface with third-party vendors and provide first-level customer service. - Plan and implement system automation for service efficiency. - Create documentation records for Managed Services personnel. - Collaborate with other professionals for high-quality deliverables. - Engage in continuous learning for new technologies. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - 7-9 years of IT experience, with prior service provider experience preferred. - Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and ticketing platforms. - Knowledge of virtualization technologies, dynamic routing protocols, and firewall configurations. - Experience with Provider edge networking configurations and requirements. - Basic Linux administration skills. - Team player with excellent communication skills. - Nurturing personality for mentoring level 1 technicians. - Analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects. - Proficiency in Microsoft Visio & Office for documentation. - Relevant industry/vendor certifications (CCNP Service Provider, VMware vSphere, Azure/Amazon).
