Security Engineer-Managed Services

Key Responsibilities: - Monitor security feeds and maintain network security equipment. - Design and develop workflows between SOAR, SIEM, and other security systems. - Investigate intrusion attempts and perform in-depth analysis of exploits. - Provide network intrusion detection expertise for incident decision-making. - Conduct proactive threat research and review security events in SIEM systems. - Tune rules, filters, and policies for security technologies. - Data mine log sources to uncover anomalous activity. - Document activities during incidents and provide leadership with status updates. - Assist with the development of processes to improve incident response times. - Participate in client-facing security meetings. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - 2-4 years of experience in Information Security, Incident Response, and security automation. - Hands-on experience with security technologies (IDS, Firewall, SIEM, SOAR, EDR). - Knowledge of security analysis tools, threats, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and exploits. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Customer service-focused, professional, and energetic. - Ability to work in a sensitive and confidential environment. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent. - Certifications: CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, GPYC, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc. Compensation & Benefits: - Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000 a year. - USA Employment Benefits: - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - 401(k) - Paid company holidays - Paid time off - Paid parental and caregiver leave - Additional benefits available on AHEAD's benefits page.
