Front End - Web Developer (Full Stack, Costa Rica)

**Overview:** - Granicus is a GovTech company focused on building, implementing, and maintaining technology to connect governments and their constituents. - The company has served over 5,500 government agencies and more than 300 million citizens. - Granicus offers comprehensive cloud-based solutions for various government needs. - The company is committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Full Stack Web Developer role for the remote, Costa Rica-based SimpleView team. - Develop and maintain websites and data-driven web applications and platforms. - Work with CMS Lead Developer and Project Manager to complete client contracts and projects. - Create CMS admin tools, widgets, and maintain accurate project notes and statuses. - Manage timelines for on-time delivery and contribute to starter templates, internal tools, and component libraries. - Ensure adherence to company code standards and security requirements. - Provide regular project updates, communicate effectively, and solve problems collaboratively. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Minimum 1+ years of professional web development experience. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server. - Understanding of server-side vs client-side rendering, browser developer tools, and web performance optimization. - Knowledge of modern JavaScript features, Core Web Vitals, and progressive enhancement principles. - Familiarity with version control software (Git/SVN) and documentation practices. - Experience with Jira, SCRUM/Agile development, and privacy training. - Ability to produce clear, thorough documentation and maintain codebase integrity. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: ₡1,600,000 - ₡1,610,000 per year. - Security and privacy responsibilities to preserve CIA of information assets. - Commitment to equal employment opportunities and a diverse, inclusive workforce. **Note:** - Residency requirement in Costa Rica with a permanent right to work status. - Bilingual English proficiency is mandatory. - Resume must include a Hyperlink to a portfolio, website, blog, or GitHub.
