Principal Learning Consultant

Overview: - Seeking Principal Learning Consultant for Strategic Services Consulting team at Instructure. - Focus on large K12 institutions to manage change and enhance use of Instructure products for pedagogical goals. - Emphasis on curriculum and exceptional customer service to maintain strong relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders for communication, training, and engagement plans. - Act as an agent of change, supporting institution vision and goals for Instructure products. - Use data and inquiry process to analyze challenges, apply strategies, and elevate teaching and learning. - Mentor and motivate staff on Instructure products, specifically Canvas. - Plan, conduct, and follow-up on consulting sessions, connecting product usage with instructional best practices. - Travel as needed to support rollout of Instructure products. - Identify areas needing additional support, training, or consulting. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Minimum three years of Canvas experience, with a preference for engaging digital learning environment courses. - At least one year of experience with other Instructure tools and educational leadership. - Experience leading change, building relationships, and rolling out technology platforms. - At least one year of experience building effective professional development for educators. - Three years of teaching experience, including digital learning environment. - Knowledge of technology adoption strategies, professional development protocols, and educational technology best practices. - Strong executive leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, creative thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize tasks, react to project adjustments, and travel for client sites. - Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Technology or equivalent, Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or Instructional Technology preferred.
