Software Engineer in Test

Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automated testing strategies across multiple projects for comprehensive and scalable test coverage. - Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts in various languages and frameworks. - Serve as a subject matter expert on testing best practices, mentoring engineers and influencing quality-driven development processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria. - Own and manage CI/CD pipelines related to test automation, identifying and addressing issues promptly. - Participate in code reviews, providing critical feedback to ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices. - Stay updated on industry trends and innovations, introducing new tools and techniques to improve testing capabilities. - Drive company-wide initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability, working on large-scale projects impacting multiple teams. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Passion for delivering high-quality inclusive experiences for customers, teachers, and learners. - Demonstrated focus, preparedness, and high performance in work and interactions. - Roughly 4+ years of experience in software development or test automation. - Expertise in writing automated tests and knowledge of various test automation frameworks and best practices. - Leadership in test strategy for large-scale projects and mentoring others. - Understanding of CI/CD processes and ability to manage and optimize testing pipelines. - Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on automation at scale. - Strong communication and leadership skills, influencing decision-making and building consensus.
