Merchandiser

Overview: - Part-time role covering Whole Foods locations in Greater Los Angeles and Orange County. - Focus on Whole Foods and Erewhon, reporting to the Director of National Accounts. - Involves merchandising execution, relationship building, competitive tracking, and sales maximization. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain relationships with produce buyers. - Execute merchandising standards and product placement. - Monitor product placements, report gaps or issues. - Perform regular store visits for product appearance and stock levels. - Communicate with store teams to maximize sales opportunities. - Submit weekly status reports on store conditions and new opportunities. - Partner with distribution team for product flow and inventory. - Document and share merchandising execution. - Track competitive activity within stores. - Maintain organized records of store visits and buyer interactions. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Must be 21 years or older at application time. - Responsible Beverage Certification and Food Handler’s certification required by start date. - Lives in assigned territory area with reliable transportation. - Available to work part-time (25-29 hours per week) with flexible weekday schedule. - Willing to travel weekly to Orange County. - Ability to stand, sit, lift/move up to 25 lbs, bend, twist, and reach to stock shelves. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace. - Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and energetic. Compensation & Benefits: - Part-time, hourly wage of $26.00, non-exempt. - 401k with 4% company match. - Product perks.
