Staff Solutions Engineer - Canada Remote - Toronto/Montreal Areas

Overview: - Seeking a seasoned, customer-facing Sales Engineer for the Canada. - Role involves driving new business, evangelizing technology, onboarding and training new customers, and establishing revenue potential. - Candidate should have experience with cloud native technologies and be enthusiastic about API and connectivity challenges. Key Responsibilities: - Support field sales in explaining the value of Kong API/Connectivity Management platform. - Understand customer requirements and how Kong platform can assist. - Grow trusted client relationships throughout the sales lifecycle. - Support Proof of Concepts (PoCs) during evaluation process. - Ensure 100% customer satisfaction across assigned accounts. - Prioritize customer needs and coordinate with various teams. - Create technical documentation for DevOps, implementations, and services engagements. - Perform additional tasks as required by manager. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - 7+ years of software engineer and/or sales engineer management experience at SaaS, Open Source or Enterprise Software company. - Solid understanding of cloud computing trends and open source business models. - Strong listener and communicator with the ability to lead discussions with diverse teams. - Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, cloud native platforms, Linux OSes, APIs, and CI/CD automation frameworks. - Fluency in French is highly advantageous.
