Business Development Representative (Maritime SaaS)

**Overview:** - Kpler assists clients in navigating complex markets by simplifying trade information and providing insights. - Founded in 2014, Kpler offers top-tier intelligence through user-friendly platforms. - Over 600 experts from 35+ countries work on transforming data into actionable strategies. - Seeks a proactive, hands-on Business Development Representative for North America. **Key Responsibilities:** - Grow existing accounts by cross-selling and finding new leads. - Become a subject matter expert on Kpler's Maritime/Shipping/Logistics or Energy/Commodities product suite. - Map key contacts, craft communication campaigns, develop leads, and qualify business opportunities. - Update CRM Platform (Salesforce) with relevant client information. - Meet weekly with the sales team to share progress and plan strategy. - Meet and exceed sales targets. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative prospecting and qualifying leads. - Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, and Salesforce CRM. - Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus. - Familiarity with the BANT methodology. - Experience in researching, mapping, and prospecting accounts. - Confident in phone, email, and LinkedIn communication. - Enjoys empathizing with customers and building relationships. - Self-disciplined, motivated, and a team player. - Ability to analyze complex client requirements. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary range: US-based candidates between $60,000 - $75,000 USD + commission. - Remote/Hybrid position available in Houston or New York. - Kpler is committed to a fair, inclusive, and diverse work environment. - Applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of not meeting every requirement.
