Senior Accountant

**Overview:** - Senior Accountant role focused on financial accuracy and analysis. - Responsible for general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. - Works cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales. - Drives efficiency and process improvements within the department. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare monthly analysis and accrual entries for trade spend activity. - Create journal entries for various monthly entries. - Review P&L for trending balances and reclassing entries. - Prepare accurate Account Reconciliations with supporting documentation. - Facilitate New Vendor Set Up. - Participate in month-end close, annual audits, and tax filings. - Ensure procedures meet internal controls. - Build and maintain positive working relationships with business partners. - Initiate process improvements. - Assist with additional tasks as assigned. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in auditing or accounting. - CPG experience and strong experience in accounting for trade spend. - CPA preferred but not required. - Self-motivation, organizational skills, teamwork ability. - Hands-on experience with spreadsheets, proprietary software, and professional platforms. - Effective communication skills, data storytelling, and attention to detail. - Prior experience with account reconciliations and journal entries. - Reside in the United States. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt position with a salary range of $90,000.00 to $100,000.00. - Annual Bonus, 401(k) program with company match, Remote-first work environment. - Nourish and Nurture Allowance, Monthly Cell and Internet Stipend, Farm-to-Fridge home deliveries. - Paid Parental Leave, Vision and Dental Insurance, Life insurance, Flexible spending account, Health savings accounts, Employee assistance program. - Unlimited Paid Time Off, Paid Volunteer Time, Paid Time Off for civic responsibilities. - Additional benefits and leaves as required by law. **Company Overview:** - Purpose: Improve childhood nutrition for a healthier, happier world. - Business: Provide organic, non-GMO, non-dairy snacks and meals for children. - Team: Fully remote, collaborative, and supportive with a focus on positive social impact. - Equal Employment Opportunity: Committed to diversity and inclusion. - Application Note: Remove identifying information from resumes before uploading.
