Solutions Architect, Platform Infrastructure (Remote)

Overview: - Weights & Biases is a Series C company with $250M in funding and over 200 employees. - Serves over 1,000 customers and more than 30 foundation model builders. - Solutions Architect role blends technical expertise of SRE with communication and advisory skills. - Focuses on managing customer deployments, debugging issues, and producing technical content. Key Responsibilities: - Deployment & Operations: Provision services in various environments, manage infrastructure, and ensure reliability and scalability. - Debugging & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve customer environment issues, support containerized and distributed systems. - Customer Engagement: Lead technical discussions, deliver training sessions, and collaborate on solutions. - Enablement & Collaboration: Streamline post-sales processes, provide insights to the Product team, and facilitate transitions. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Based in PST timezone. - Proven track record in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues. - Prior customer-facing technical role experience. - Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). - Strong Linux/Unix command line experience. - Basic proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML workflows. - Exceptional communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. - Deep proficiency in Kubernetes, data engineering, and MLOps tooling (plus experience as an educator). - SaaS, web service, or distributed systems operations experience.
