Manager, Accounting and Payroll - #1723

Overview: - Accounting and Payroll Manager oversees strategic direction, objectives, and people management of Payroll and Payroll accounting functions. - Ensures compliance with local and federal regulations and serves as liaison to vendors, auditors, and agencies. - Interacts with multiple levels of the organization and outside entities. Key Responsibilities: - Administers and processes organization's biweekly and equity payroll in coordination with ADP processor. - Ensures timely and accurate accounting of salaries, commissions, and equity payments. - Performs payroll close duties, including payroll flux analysis, accrual, vacation accrual, journal entries, and reconciliations. - Provides information for audits, reviews, and identifies process improvements. - Assists accounting teams with requests, including journal entry review and account reconciliation reviews. - Establishes annual objectives and executes tactics to meet company objectives. - Provides guidance and direction to subordinates within company policies. - Executes financials, business planning, organizational priorities, and workforce management. - Develops and manages routine operational plans. - Interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience. - Ability to analyze data, resolve problems, and gain cooperation through technical presentations. - Knowledge of Accounting in Excel or Microsoft systems. - Publicly traded company experience preferred. - Ability to interpret financials, develop operational plans, and interact with peers. - MeridianLink's culture of professional growth, open-door policy, and work-life balance. - Equal Opportunity Employer. - Background, credit, and drug tests as part of the offer process.
