Business Development Representative (Remote)

**Overview:** - Join PolicyMe, a Venture-Backed InsurTech startup aiming to modernize insurance. - Remote-first, Toronto-based company with big ambitions. - Role involves nurturing inbound leads and converting them into sales opportunities. - Build and shape the business development function from the ground up. **Key Responsibilities:** - Engage with inbound leads via phone, email, and online chat. - Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the advisor team. - Provide information on insurance products and services. - Maintain and update CRM records with detailed notes. - Work with Advisor and Operations teams to optimize lead nurturing strategies. - Analyze lead data to identify trends and suggest improvements. - Meet or exceed monthly conversion and engagement targets. - Represent PolicyMe professionally and client-centricly. **Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:** - 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience handling inbound leads and qualifying potential clients. - Proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot) and lead management tools. - Self-motivated, results-driven, and organized. - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Generous PTO - 20 vacation days. - Access to stock options and health benefits. - Remote-first team with company paid, in-person socials. - Option to work from the Toronto-based office. - Resources for professional development, including L&D budget and performance reviews. - Employer committed to equal opportunity and accessibility.
