Overview: - Join PolicyMe, a Venture-Backed InsurTech startup based in Toronto, aiming to modernize insurance. - Seeking a Customer Success Specialist to assist with the life insurance application process. - Remote-first, flexible work schedule with potential for in-person office work. Key Responsibilities: - Manage caseload through underwriting process. - Master workflows, application processes, and software systems. - Coordinate medical exams and obtain underwriting requirements. - Track payments, update billing information, and report underwriting codes. - Administer policy changes and respond to claims inquiries. - Maintain accurate policy records and transactions. - Collaborate on cross-functional projects for a seamless customer experience. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - 1-2 years of relevant work experience in insurance customer service or sales. - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Intermediate Google Suite skills. - Excellent English communication skills. - Empathy for customer pain points. - Willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and multi-task. - Honesty, integrity, and openness to additional tasks.
